| Customizing the Indexing |
REFLEXION gives the Administrator full possibilities to define the indexed domain and the indexing process:
The indexed domain is defined via a list of network shared directories, which can be changed before any indexing session. A special "blacklist" allows to exclude some directories from being indexed.
The Administrator defines the databases to index, in each one the tables to index, and in each table the textual fields to index.
It is possible to select the document types to index.
The indexing sessions may be planned on peridocal schedules, as background tasks (with no user session opened).

The Administrator of REFLEXION has a control panel and monitoring tools (see the guided tour):
Comprehensive settings are available, to adapt REFLEXION to the capacities of the search server: for example, a maximum time allowed for the indexing of any individual document, the list of "banal words"...
REFLEXION maintains log files of its indexing and searching activities.
The Administrator's interface offers historical summaries of the indexing sessions (duration, number and types of documents, index volume, etc).
There is also a historical log of all user queries over the Intranet.
